TERMS OF SERVICE

Introduction

This website, LegalHelpCenter.org, provides general legal information powered by artificial intelligence technology.  By using this site and our services, you agree to the following terms.

AI Capabilities and Limitations

The AI assistant on LegalHelpCenter.org is designed to provide helpful legal information to users. However, it has limitations and does not function as a legal professional. The AI may make mistakes or give incorrect information. It may also “hallucinate” responses that seem plausible but are inaccurate. We do not guarantee the accuracy or appropriateness of any information provided by the AI. Users should carefully evaluate all guidance and consult with an attorney for official legal advice.

Attorney Responses

Some legal questions submitted on LegalHelpCenter.org may be routed to partner attorneys for review. However, we cannot guarantee any attorney will provide a response, nor can we guarantee the accuracy, timeliness or adequacy of any attorney guidance. Users must form their own attorney-client relationships to obtain personalized legal advice.

Third Party Services

LegalHelpCenter.org utilizes ChatGPT. Users must comply with  services terms when using ChatGPT through our site. We are not responsible for the performance of ChatGPT or any other third party technology.

Assumption of Risk

Use of LegalHelpCenter.org and our AI assistant is entirely at your own risk. We make no legal guarantees or warranties regarding site availability, accuracy of information or attorney responses. Users assume full responsibility for any decisions made based on information provided through this site.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall LegalHelpCenter.org or its owners be liable for damages arising from use of this site, the AI assistant, or any linked sites. This includes direct, indirect, special, consequential or any other alleged damages.

Governing Law

These terms are governed under the laws of the State of California without regard to conflict of law principles. Users consent to exclusive jurisdiction in the state and federal courts located in  California for disputes.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Use of LegalHelpCenter.org after changes constitutes consent to the new terms. Users should review the most current version of terms before using our services.
